Outstanding Experience I had an incredible experience at Hearth. From the moment I walked in, Peter, the General Manager, made me feel completely at home. He is truly one of a kind—welcoming, genuine, and the type of person you want to come back and visit again and again. Anytime I’m in town, I’ll be stopping by just to say hello and enjoy the atmosphere he creates. The food was fantastic, full of flavor and clearly made with care. And while I regret not remembering her name, our waitress was hilarious, attentive, and absolutely amazing. She kept the evening fun and made the service feel effortless. Hearth has earned a permanent spot on my list. Highly recommend!
My husband and I came to The Hearth for the first time last week with the intention of doing a little intimate date night/gender reveal to celebrate our 3rd baby. I called ahead to see if they could do a small special surprise for us with our dessert, and they did not disappoint! They were all so excited for us, and warm in their interactions—even moving us to a more private corner table without us asking. Multiple staff throughout the evening checked on us and showed their excitement for our celebration. When the moment came for our little gender reveal, our server, Christian, and the manager both made the moment so fun and special for us! They invited us back after our son is born! Our food and the blueberry cobbler cheesecake dessert were absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was fun, summery with the open garage door, and cozy! We both agreed this is our new favorite spot in Windsor and we will be back so soon!
Two of our friends are locals to Windsor and they recommended that we meet here for lunch. Windsor is also such a lovely little city to walk around. We were seated, and then greeted by the General Manager Peter, who was extremely gregarious, hilarious, and made us feel very welcome. Our server Samuel was excellent, and also their team member Bud who we also chatted with. I had the Creamy Tomato Bisque followed by the Black Angus New York Strip Steak (12oz), cooked rare, and both were perfect. The rest of us were very happy with the meals as well. Decent wines, and excellent cocktails rounded-off a magnificent experience on a cozy Saturday afternoon at Hearth. Well done folks, very impressive indeed.
The three of us came to the hearth on a slow Saturday afternoon, atound 1pm. There was a decent amount of people at the bar and the dinning area was mostly empty. At first it took us 5 mins from sitting down to get a server to acknowledge us. I was disappointed by this but the feeling went away once our server came. Our server was friendly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We tried the $2 deviled eggs which I found over priced but the ingredients tasted fresh, but on the salty side. If you are sensitive to salt maybe try another appetizer. I asked the server for a recommendation, this being our first time, he recommended the bacon and fig. Much like other reviews the cheese was lacking. The pizza crust was made well crunchy but not hard. The kids pizza was huge and my little loved it. Overall after a rough start The Hearth's employees made the overall experience pleasant.
Hearth Restaurant and Pub in downtown Windsor, Colorado, blends rustic charm with modern style in a restored 1902 building overlooking Windsor Lake. Known for its Wood-Stone oven pizzas and seasonal pub fare, it offers 16 rotating craft beers, creative cocktails, outdoor seating, weekend brunch, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. A beloved local dining spot. The service is amazing and the staff are willing to help. The view from their outdoor sitting is amazing too.
Went on the recommendation of locals. Not a huge restaurant space. There is an outdoor space, but obviously can only be used when weather permits. We had a party of 18 and had one server, Shawn, who did an amazing job. The manager also came over several times and other servers came and helped out. Service was excellent. Both the manager and Shawn gave us excellent recommendations. We had the Brussel Sprouts, Meatballs and Disco Fries for apps. Each were so good. Meatballs were flavorful and tender. The sauce in the Brussel Sprouts made this app extra tasty. I ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich. Wow!!!Tender, not grisly. Amazing. Most people had their burgers and said they were also great. The Chocolate Torte.....wow. overall a great experience with friends!!! Thanks!
